Rotaract is a global, community based organisation for people aged 18-30, who are interested in making a difference through community and international projects. We have heaps of fun, get involved in heaps of charity events and parties, meet a variety of new people, and develop awesome relationships and leadership skills in an open and supportive environment.
The Rotaract Club of Pupuke, Inc., began in 2005 with a group from the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. We are:
- A group of young people passionate about working with each other and numerous charitable organizations to make a difference (Cancer Society, St Johns, Youthline, Cure Kids, Stroke Foundation, Blind Foundation, Shelterbox, North Shore Life Centre, Oxfam and Duffy Books in Homes to name a few)
- Part of the International Community (Pacific Island projects, exchanges, group study etc)
- Continually developing our members personal skill sets (leadership, personal, professional and social)
- Actively involved in volunteer work and fundraising to provide assistance, support and awareness
- Not politically or religiously affiliated
